Tech III is the final sequence of the technology courses at Mahomet-Seymour Junior High School.

Tech III is designed to (a)improve keyboarding speed and accuracy and (b)develop basic skills in web page design using both HTML coding and Dreamweaver software.

Rules

RESPECT - The equipment, teacher, classmates and any guests at all times. This includes using appropriate language.

ABSOLUTELY - No gum, food, or candy. Besides the thousands of dollars of equipment in this room, we have carpeting that requires special care.

SAVE OFTEN - to the network and backup your work on CDs.

ONLY - be using the software you have permission to use. No use of Internet without permission or specific directions to do so. No games.

QUIET - No use of the keyboard OR mouse when the teacher is talking.

NO PRINTING - unless asked to do so by the teacher.

NEVER - share your password with anyone under any condition. This is considered cheating and may result in a zero and/or dismissal from class and a failing grade.

*The completion of the web page project is the culmination of what has been learned in the course. Since it counts for nearly half of the quarter grade, it is imperative to be in attendance, work steadily each day, and to successfully include all of the items listed on the grading rubric for the project.

Course Description

This class focuses on basic web page development. It is broken into two areas: Raw HTML and Dreamweaver. Problem solving skills are a key focus of this course.
