correct posture for singing.

demonstrate good tone quality in relation to the five pure vowel sounds.

signatures and the order and use of sharps, flats and natural signs.

The learner will be able to identify and describe
whole steps and half steps.

The learner will be able to sight-read a four measure
exercise with solfege in the Key of C and F Major using quarter, eighth,
half and whole notes in duple and triple meter.

The learner will be able to describe and demonstrate
appropriate concert etiquette.

The learner will demonstrate part independence, balance,
blend and memorization using 2-3 part treble and mixed voicing literature.

The learner will demonstrate their ability to perform
music in a variety of styles, moods and languages from different time
periods and cultures.

Latin for singing.
