group of people, comfortably, and present themselves with excellent volume
and enunciation.
The learner will be able to know some basic
theatre vocabulary.
The learner will be able to analyze a character in
preparation for performance.
The learner will be able to evaluate a variety of
different types of materials in consideration for performance.
The learner will be able to give positive,
constructive feedback to their fellow actors.
The learner will be able to act as attentive
audience members for a variety of different types of performance.
The learner will be able to prepare a wide variety
of different dynamic theatrical performances including: Personal
Storytelling, Pantomime, Oral Interpretation (of prose and poetry), Duet
Scenes (comedic and dramatic), and Monologues (two of contrasting styles).
The learner will be able to prepare for and
participate in theatrical auditions in different settings with different
types of directors.
